We are mobile!!!

Look out Scotland - the Presleys are on the road! Thats right, we now are the proud owners of a real car! Today, we did something we have had the rare opportunity to do here. We DROVE to lunch - at a restaurant! Then we DROVE to the grocery store!!! Ah its the little things you appreciate after a year and a half of hauling groceries up and down the hills of St. Andrews! Now, this isn't the end of our walking career in St. Andrews, not even close! Just a nice perk for trips, say outside of St. Andrews! We will also be driving to the store from time to time :) (I am especially excited about this if you can't tell!) Here's a pic of the new ride for your enjoyment...


Yeah, thats right its a wagon! Or as they call them in the UK - an estate. Its really a small wagon and it gets almost 60 mpg on the highway so we are ready for a road trip! Now, where to go???

Back in St. Andrews

Well, we made it back to cold, dark, wet Scotland! As much as we are happy to be back in St. Andrews and in our 'routine' again, the weather is definitely a far cry from the 80 degree weather we were having in Dallas over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Its basically been hovering around freezing since we got here with some rain and a little snow. In addition to the climate change, I am reminded every time we come back how different life is here for us as in Texas. I took this pic of Isla as we were headed out to the grocery store the other day and I think it sums up nicely the differences in our life here versus in the States...
