You can read about the events of the last few days at my brothers blog: sonofwhale.com
He has done a wonderful job explaining what happened and numerous other have offered their thoughts and condolences.
As you can see my father was great man and impacted thousands. Even though this have been extremely difficult for our family and we cannot imagine our lives without this man, you can see from the thoughts, prayers and comments that God will be glorified in all things.
Please continue to pray for us.

Please Pray - Updated
Last night, Stephen's father collapsed at a family cookout. He was rushed in for emergency neurosurgery and is in critical condition in Beth Israel hospital in Boston. He has bleeding on the brain and is in a coma.
Please pray as the next 48 hours are critical.
We recently meet with the doctors and the good news my father is stable, breathing mostly on his own, and the doctors believe that he will continue to remain in that state indefinitely. However, they fear that the portions of his brain that control motor functions, eye functions, and his arousal functions were irreversibly damaged by the bleeding and several small strokes. Which potentially means that he may not be able to wake up from his coma and even if he does there is a chance that he may be blind and/or immobile. We are all trying to be patient as we wait and pray. There will be an update from the doctors tomorrow, so I will post more information after that meeting.
for now, please continue to pray that the damage to his brain is not irreversible and pray for my family as we face this very difficult situation.

The last few weeks have been rather crazy. We have been back in Texas for a few weeks and we are just trying to catch up with all our friends and family. Plus we had to get a visa for the little one. It is strange that she is just now three months old and already she has a passport and visa!
Unfortunately somewhere in our travels we lost our camera charger, so we have lots of good pics to show, but no way to turn on the camera!
Isla did get to take her first dip in the pool and enjoyed laying out on a hot Texas summer afternoon (particularly after spending the spring in Scotland). She also got to meet her dogs, Frannie and Baylor. She loves to watch them play fetch and will laugh out loud when Frannie catches the ball in her mouth.
Things are good with us and we will post some pics as soon as we can find our charger! (or get a new camera)
