The last few weeks have been rather crazy. We have been back in Texas for a few weeks and we are just trying to catch up with all our friends and family. Plus we had to get a visa for the little one. It is strange that she is just now three months old and already she has a passport and visa!

Unfortunately somewhere in our travels we lost our camera charger, so we have lots of good pics to show, but no way to turn on the camera!

Isla did get to take her first dip in the pool and enjoyed laying out on a hot Texas summer afternoon (particularly after spending the spring in Scotland). She also got to meet her dogs, Frannie and Baylor. She loves to watch them play fetch and will laugh out loud when Frannie catches the ball in her mouth.

Things are good with us and we will post some pics as soon as we can find our charger! (or get a new camera)

So glad you guys are getting some visiting in TX. So sorry we missed you! We're stationed in Reno now, so holler if you head west before going back East. We'll stay tuned for pics of your beautiful daughter. I'd also love to hear about the studies.

peace and all good,

Very cool my friend did you start your masters program and how is lake Tahoe? I have only seen it once briefly, but i remember it was gorgeous.

I haven't started yet. I'm applying for the spring semester - Kyndra will be done with her internships then. But, we're thinking of taking it slow here too. We love it already. The weather and surroundings are great. I feel like I've just scratched the surface of Lake Tahoe .. but it is amazing.
Right now, I'm applying for work at a small Lutheran church ... that should be interesting.

I'll be in touch - you do the same.

Lake Tahoe is quite amazing - I feel like I've only scratched the surface, but it's fun out here with the weather and the surroundings. We dig it.
Keep me posted! Email me about theology and teach me the ways!!

I'm applying for work at a local Lutheran church, so I'm hoping it works out. It would be really cool - great people, good tradition, etc.

peace!
